MRB Logistics is looking for an energetic Sales Executive who is accountable for helping MRB grow our transportation & warehouse sales through identifying new prospects, soliciting, and selling transportation solutions & warehouse services. The SE will have the autonomy and internal resources to develop their individualized game plan of targeted industries to solicit & seize. The SE will work towards bringing on new business relationships and maximizing new sales opportunities with customer targets across Texas and beyond!

The ideal Logistics Sales Executive will increase our success by:

The logistics SE will have a full-time position, working one to two days in the office (Irving, Texas) and the remaining days will be working in the field selling a wide range of non-asset-based logistics services & warehouse solutions.

The logistics SE must have a growth mindset and must build trust & rapport with the new customers through daily account management, regular reviews of service agreements and by re-assuring the stakeholders of our continued commitment to the partnership.

The logistics SE will be penetrating middle market & national customers by uncovering and presenting profitable sales opportunities in all transportation verticals to the Director of Sales. The SE will interpret how multiple factors effecting market conditions could impact a customer’s supply chain and must deliver a persuasive case for change.

The logistics SE must have current transportation industry knowledge & will be well versed in understanding & selling transportation services such as FTL (dry& reefer), drayage, flatbed, LTL, intermodal, tradeshow and warehouse distribution services & solutions. The SE must have the capacity to sharpen their selling skills in more specialized transportation modes while developing vital relationships with key accounts & decision makers that sustain repeat profitable sales opportunities. No restrictions on targeted sales regions, commodities or equipment.

The logistics SE is responsible for conducting a certain number of sales calls by telephone daily, email and scheduling face to face meetings in the assigned territory, and other objectives determined the Director of Sales. Must attend weekly face to face internal meetings with operations & sales management, establish sales call cycle and work on day-to-day tasks with a high degree of effective time management skills.

The logistics SE will have a support system of experienced peers and MRB management to help along the way of their sales success. MRB will provide training and ongoing career development.

Responsible for initiating engaging sales calls to prospects & current clients, researching and identifying companies not currently doing business with the organization and converting them into repeated business opportunities with high growth trajectory, supervise accounts daily to retain existing relationships, responsible for price negotiation with customers, responsible for meeting sales goals to aid in achieving targets, uphold rapport with clients and prospects, responsible for offering quotes to current clients, responsible for supervising shipments until delivery completed to guarantee smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications & Expectations:

Bachelor’s degree, pass criminal background check & reference check and have a valid U.S. driver license.

Must have documented sales experience (3yrs), either employed in non-asset transportation brokerage sales, or have worked in inside/outside sales with a previous asset-based transportation company in the last year.

Must have industry knowledge and previously sold transportation services & solutions for the following: Drayage, Intermodal, Full-Truckload (FTL) reefer & dry, Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), Flatbed, Expedite services, Intermodal, Tradeshow, Warehouse Solutions & Distribution Services.

Candidates having a portable book of transportation business which can be transferable in time would be beneficial as well.

Be able to travel 50% for sales duties and also be able to attend corporate events as directed by management throughout the year. Must also have the means to report daily to the office in Irving, Texas.

Must have the ability to work in the field or at home without direct supervision while being accountable to MRB management with tangible results. The candidate must be comfortable with meeting customers face to face, speaking on the telephone and working as an individual contributor. The candidate is responsible for creating new monthly business revenue generation through identifying, prospecting, managing, and closing new opportunities.

The candidate must be able to give examples of their prior sales accomplishments & career highlights and be able to define their path to future success using their proven success building new strategic relationships. Must have knowledge of the transportation industry and previous sales experience utilizing value-based selling with successful C-Suite penetration capabilities, having with excellent communication skills.

Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English and Bilingual is a plus.

Full time position in our sales department, working hours are 8AM-5PM, Monday-Friday and as required by management.

Onboarding: The first 30 days of employment the SE will report to the Irving, office for daily training and MRB onboarding of company platforms, procedures, etc., and from here the weekly structure will be determined by the Director of Sales.

LTL Operations Manager

MRB Logistics is a growing transportation brokerage and is currently seeking an LTL Operations Manager in our Irving, Texas office to support our growing LTL business. This position is perfect for an individual that likes a fast-paced environment, seeks out the opportunity for significant impact, and has a get it done mentality! The LTL manager will coordinate and manage the LTL processes (including customer pricing requests, order entry, coordinating pickup & delivery appointments and improving the overall business with TMS innovation.), shipment exemptions, and order close outs, general efficiency, and successful routings of all less- than- truckload orders. The LTL Manager is accountable for ensuring all LTL operational standards & procedures are followed and customer expectations are met & delivered. Responsible for responding to LTL requests in a timely manner while providing accurate quoting, pickup & delivery expectations, and accountable for accurate billing & resolving billing matters with all parties. The operations manager must have prior experience in the LTL industry, understand current trends and be well versed in NMFC regulations, freight classes, LTL accessorials and understand the financial impacts of annual GRI’s to MRB & customers. In addition, must be able to interpret carrier base rates & Czarlite rate bases, hazmat restrictions, FAK requests, AMC’s and understand the complete cycle of LTL. The LTL Operations Manager will work closely with Sr Director of Business Operations with dotted line accountability to the VP of Sales to ensure proper communication and goals of the LTL program are being met, proactive handling of potential issues, and departmental success.

The LTL operations manager will be a dedicated expert who collaborates with MRB operations & sales to coordinate the movement of our customers’ freight from origin to destination on time, and within budget. Job Requirements

· Managing a comprehensive LTL program by overseeing the complete process for each LTL shipment from pickup to delivery, assessing deliverables and utilizing MRB technology resources to drive efficiency to the LTL program.

· Drives continuous improvements to the LTL program, aligns the best suited LTL carriers to our customer’s explicit needs & pain points, routinely investigates cost while adjusting, enhancing, and expanding our capabilities within the LTL operation and markets.

· Investigates & align customer freight profiles regularly against our implemented LTL tariffs, investigates pricing concerns, prepares action plans to ensure highest productivity, provide KPI’s, track revenues with customers & carriers & ensure gross margin expectations are achieved while customer service standards are always delivered.

· Responsible for all daily LTL quoting, dispatching, sourcing, tracking, retrieving BOLs, POD’s and utilizing the most aligned LTL provider while ensuring the LTL shipments are moving as expected from start to finish for all LTL.

· Will be observing, reviewing & approving LTL orders in our internal API & EDI TMS platforms, and may receive LTL orders by email & telephone.

· Must have the skillset to analyze transportation requests using the most cost-efficient transportation services leading to the best overall solution while pivoting as necessary to meet customers explicit needs & expectations.

· Must be able to understand classification of freight, NMFC & interpret BOL’s, understand how to calculate volume & spot rates, density, cubic capacity, linear foot, liability concerns, base rates (CWT), CZARLITE rate bases, accessorials/surcharges understand the impact to MRB & customers with GRI’s, and be able to resolve billing disputes timely with customers & carriers.

· Must be analytical and be customer facing while addressing LTL issues & educating customers & internal MRB employees.

· Ensures all current & future LTL customers are properly on-boarded with MRB and up to date with documentation (onboarding documents, credit application, complete & accurate freight profiles, billing addresses, etc.) are analyzed and approved. You will ensure each MRB customer is following a structured & tailored LTL protocol from quoting to delivery.

· Manage LTL orders and collaborate with customers & internal employees as needed to properly resolve matters.

· Actively engage and manage key relationships with all transportation partners.

· Must be able to interpret transportation opportunities and provide the most cost-efficient transportation solutions for each customer.

· Must have complete knowledge of all transportation service modes and be able to decipher the most cost effective & the most logical transportation solution for each customer within the ideal transportation vertical to properly align customer for success and repeatable business.

· Must have a growth mindset with each transportation opportunity and treating each opportunity with first class customer service.

· Enact transportation contingencies to handle freight issues as needed.

· Managing & resolving delivery exceptions/delays and customer inquiries.

· Manage communication on pickup delays/exceptions to shippers & receivers.

MRB Logistics is looking for a highly skilled Drayage Account Manager. The Drayage Account Manager will be responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly management of the drayage opportunities assigned to the position. Work with their assigned accounts and selected drayage vendors to build relationships and create solutions within the drayage market opportunities. Develop their customers insuring all needs are met with the highest standard of achievement and accuracy.
